Paris, 2 February 2018: “Africa – Mediterranean - Europe: The axis of the future”

The first Mediterranean and African breakfast, organised in Paris by IPEMED, in partnership with BPIfrance and ICPublications, took place on 2 February 2018 and focused on the topic: “Africa - Mediterranean - Europe: The axis of the future”.

This event relied on the new book by Jean-Louis Guigou and Pierre Beckouche, published by Nevicata, and on the works carried out by IPEMED over the last few years. It gathered 150 people.

This event was introduced by Isabelle Bébéar, Bpifrance International and University Director, and moderated by Hichem Ben Yaiche, Editor-in-chief of New African and African Business, with the participation of:

  • Janine Kacou Diagou, General Director of the NSIA group;
  • Jean-Louis Guigou, President of IPEMED;
  • Radhi Meddeb, Managing Director of the COMETE Engineering group and former President of IPEMED;
  • Richard Werly, journalist at Le Temps, specialist in European affairs and editor of the collection L’âme des peuples.
